Living Tango presents TANGO EXPLOSION at the Hermosa Beach Pier on Friday, March 28 in conjunction with dance anywhere®, a global event taking place at noon. That day, all over the world, people will stop what they are doing and dance wherever they may be. For the past 9 years, people of all ages and artistic capacities have danced in parks, museums, street corners, schools, work places, community centers, offices and just about anywhere you can imagine. Participants have been professional dancers and artists, plumbers, doctors, soccer players, teachers and politicians. Some dances are choreographed, some are improvised and some stretch the definition of what dance is. Tango dancers from all over L.A. will begin dancing at the Hermosa Pier at 11:45. Living Tango will also offer free mini tango instruction between 1 and 1:30. Everyone is invited to participate for the tenth year of dance anywhere®!
