Soradi Dance is based in Tomar, Portugal and created by American-born dance artist/choreographer Shirin Stave-Matias and her husband, Fausto Matias; performance artist/choreographer and native of Portugal. Both Shirin and Fausto were professional dancers with international experience who worked in New York City for numerous years and have dedicated themselves to developing dance in Portugal, for the last twelve years

Soradi Dance offers performances, classes, workshops, and other events in world dance, creative movement and hatha yoga for people of all ages with the idea that these unique art forms cross all language, cultural, age, class, religious (and any other) barriers, enabling people to experience a valuable part of living creatively, joyfully and unified in spirit.
