Tanya Chianese

ka·nei·see | collective, directed by Tanya Chianese, will be joining dance anywhere® this year. 

Tanya Chianese is a native of Los Angeles and has a B.F.A. in Modern Dance and a B.A. in Art History from the University of Oklahoma.
As a professional dancer she has performed throughout the United States and in China. Tanya currently creates art with Paufve | Dance, Kristin Damrow & Company, Blind Tiger Society, and dNaga.  
Chianese teaches at Danspace, Shawl-Anderson Dance Center, Ace Dance Academy, and Berkeley Ballet Theater.

Chianese was chosen as a Artist-in-Residence at Shawl-Anderson Dance Center in 2014. This marked the beginning of her company, ka·nei·see | collective. 

Tanya currently works with a variety of non-profits in the Bay Area (Epiphany Productions, dance anywhere, Bianca Cabrera).

In 2014 ka•nei•see danced at the waterfall fountain at the Yerba Buena Gardens in downtown San Francisco.
