We'll be out in the woods collecting sap and boiling it into sweet maple syrup. Friends and family come from all over at this time of the year to help us split wood, carry sap, stoke the evaporator, wash canning jars, and taste the results of our labor. At 2 p.m. CST we'll take a break to bring out the fiddles and guitar, kick up our heels in the snow, and celebrate the season.
