MBA, M.Ed., and Massachusetts K-12 educator’s licensed in dance and health. Childhood trained in tap and “go-go,” European-wide competitions in high school, then ballet studies in Boston, San Diego and L.A., with the past eight years devoted to Afro-Caribbean studies. African Master Teachers include: Nani Agbeli, Fatou N’Diaye Davis, Lamine Tourre, and Caro Diallo. Currently performs West African dance and drumming, and singing, and contemporary dance, while teaching in public and private high schools and colleges. She is a performing member of the Agbekor Drum and Dance Society (ADDS), co-founder of BodyGrooves world dance/music org, co-founder of the Massachusetts Dance Festival, member of “Cubist Band,” led by Jerry Leake, "Dancing in the Light" multimedia music/dance, led by Randy Felts, and past dancer with “Silimbo” Senegalese company. Grant writer, curriculum developer, and marketing and public relations professional for dance music programs and organizations.
