Our ballroom dance studio started in Germantown in 1988 by Thomas Korpitz and has been a part of the Memphis area for over 28 years, which is the longest running Fred Astaire Dance Studio in the city. Fred Astaire Dance Studio of Memphis touts to be “the happiest, friendliest spot in town,” and nobody loves to dance more than we do! Fred Astaire Franchised Dance Studios have been teaching students to dance using their award-winning curriculum since 1947. We have classes for all ages and abilities from beginner through advanced. We offer both private and group lessons in Ballroom Dance, Latin, Swing Dance and Wedding Dance. Teaching ballroom dance lessons to students from Memphis, Germantown, Cordova to Collierville, TN and beyond!
