Though I have no ability to dance in choreograhically defined movements, I love improvisational movement to music, with or without a partner. And with a partner, even music isn't necessary. My young adult daughter introduced me to movement expressionism in 2002, and now at 65 I more enthused and engaged than ever. Fortunately, Greater West Los Angeles has many venues for Improvisational Movement Expressionism, and I make every effort to join some of them 2-3x/week.
